SFL-TNU Student Union successfully organizes the ‘Spring for Students’ 2020 event

To celebrate 70 years of the ‘Vietnamese students’ traditions’ day and Vietnamese Students’ Union Foundation (September 1, 1950-September 1, 2020), on December 1, 2020, SFL-TNU’s Student Union successfully organized the ‘Spring for Students’ 2020 event.

Distinguished guests included: representatives from the sponsor Doosun Vietnam Limited Liability Company; Doctor Luu Quang Sang, Deputy Party committee secretary, Vice-dean of SFL-TNU, Doctor To Vu Thanh, Chairman of School Trade Union, representatives from all departments and more than 300 excellent Union fellows throughout the school.

In his welcome speech, Mr. Dang Trung Kien, Deputy Secretary and chairman of the Student Union, recalled the valuable traditions of students on this special occasion.

Although the Student Union was recently founded (January 9. 2019), it has achieved significant successes during its first year. At the event, Dr. Luu Quang Sang recognized the achievements of the Union and gave directions for the future.

During the event, the Doosun Vietnam Limited Liability Company awarded 6 scholarships worth 7.500.000 VNDs each to 6 outstanding Korean linguistics students of the School.

The ‘Spring for Students’ is an annual event hosted by the school Youth Union to honor outstanding students who followed the role model of President Ho Chi Minh and students of 5 merits. This year, 26 students of 5 merits and 89 students following the role model of the President Ho Chi Minh were honored. Also, 14 units, 200 individuals were presented with certificates of excellence.
