SFL-TNU Celebrates Vietnamese Teachers’ Day
On November 19, 2019, at Hall A, SFL-TNU hosted the ceremony to celebrate 37 years of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982-November 20, 2019).
Those in attendance were Associate Professor Tran Thanh Van, Vice President of TNU, and Doctor Nguyen Tat Thang, Chairman of TNU Trade Union, Head of Students’ Service Department. From SFL-TNU, there was Doctor Le Hong Thang, Doctor Luu Quang Sang and Doctor Dang Thi Thanh Huong, international experts teaching at SFL-TNU, lecturers and students from SFL-TNU.
At the ceremony, Doctor Le Hong Thang- Dean of SFL-TNU, congratulated all teachers on their efforts during the past year. He thanked all teachers and sent his best wishes to all participants. He also highlighted the school’s accomplishments over the year. For example, the School successfully built a new lecture hall with full equipment. The School has been consistently setting high standards in training quality. Additionally, the School always attempts to meet the demands of society nowadays.
On behalf of the TNU Board and Associate Professor Tran Thanh Van expressed his best wishes to SFL-TNU teachers. The meeting is the result of innovations and intercultural integration that strengthen the visibility of SFL-TNU.
To conclude the ceremony, SFL-TNU presented a medal for ‘Excellent Education’ from the Ministry of Education and Training to Professor Cao Thi Thu Luong, Head of Foundation Courses Department. Also, Professor Trieu Quang Viet, Head of Department of Education and Training, was presented with a certificate for his excellent contributions. Many other individuals were also awarded certificates from TNU.
