NATIONAL FOREIGN LANGUAGE PROJECT 2020

The project "Teaching and learning foreign languages in the national education system in the period of 2008 - 2020" with the following main contents:

Comprehensively renovate the teaching and learning of foreign languages in the national education system, implement new foreign language teaching and learning programs at all levels of education and training, in order to achieve a clear step forward in the level and capacity of human resources to use foreign languages by 2015,  especially for some priority areas; by 2020, the majority of Vietnamese young people graduating from secondary schools, colleges and universities have sufficient foreign language ability to use independently and confidently in communication, study and work in an integrated, multilingual and multicultural environment; turning foreign languages into strengths of the Vietnamese people, serving the industrialization and modernization of the country.
