Meeting between SFL-TNU and the Korean Business Association in Thai Nguyen
The 2nd Korean Speaking Contest organized by SFL-TNU on April 11th, 2019 has finished but left a very good impression in the hearts of the participants, especially the sponsors. In order to reach cooperation agreements in the near future, on April 16th, 2019, SFL-TNU had a meeting with the Korean Business Association (KoCham) in Thai Nguyen.
Dr. Le Hong Thang – Rector and representative of International Cooperation Department, Department of Oriental Languages & Cultures and 04 Korean lecturers working at the SFL-TNU attends the meeting. From the Korean Business Association, there are representatives of nearly 40 companies located in Thai Nguyen province.
During the meeting, Dr. Le Hong Thang gives an introductory speech about SFL-TNU, especially the Faculty’s Korean language training major and emphasizes the role of Korean-speaking human resources in the labor market today.
In addition, the two units also have discussions about the internship program of students of the SFL-TNU with Korean companies and job opportunities for students after graduation. Korean businesses will also offer incentive scholarships to students of SFL, especially job opportunities for students at those enterprises.
The meeting takes place in a solemn, open atmosphere and closes with the prospects for cooperation between the two units in the future.
