SFL Students made a field trip to Foxconn Technology Group in Bac Ninh

On the 23th October, 2019, 14 students from English and Chinese majors – School of Foreign Languages had a field trip at Foxconn Technology Group, or Hong Hai Technology Group (Bac Ninh province)

Before visiting the company’s factory in Bac Ninh, the students ​​went to the company’s head office and had a meeting with the company’s representatives to learn about an overview of the company,  the market of electronic manufacturing, and employment opportunities for students entering this industry as well as the great things that they students would experience when training or becoming an official employee at Foxconn Technology group.

Through their visit to the industrial zone, the students gained more knowledge about the industry of the Foxconn Technology as well as the rigorous requirements of the employers. With the guidance and instructions of the manager, the SFL students asked many questions to learn more about the difficulties and challenges that the company had encountered, lessons learned in management, and the internship and employment opportunities that this company had promised the SFL students in the near future.

The visit has achieved good results and it reminded the students to always try the best to improve their knowledge and practice their language skills to become high quality workers in order to meet the recruitment needs of large corporations such as Foxconn Group.
